General rates

The government’s 2026 Resolution 0599 lists 294,000 COP for a general cédula issue and 293,000 COP for a duplicate. These are government charges, not charges from this website. Check if the fee differs for renewal or your specific situation.

Special categories

The published first-issue tariff for Ecuadorian nationals is USD 5, adjusted to the applicable exchange rate; the government lists USD 16 for Ecuadorian duplicates and renewals. Pacific Alliance scholarship recipients are listed as zero COP for first issue. Verify your exemption and official payment instructions.

Payment safety

The authority says its public officials are not permitted to receive cash directly. Follow payment instructions in the official process and keep your receipt. You should not send money to a social-media contact claiming to accelerate issuance.
